He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Thorne and William Thorne; his siblings, Allan (Ellen), William Jr. (Norma) and Alice; his parents-in-law, Chesley and Florence Head; his brother-in-law Junior; and his nephew Jason Head.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Kevin (Dianne), Karen (Calvin Peddle), Keith (Wendy) and Kenneth (Serena); his grandchildren, Morgan (Elizabeth Philpott), Sheldon (Vanessa), Andrew Peddle (Heather O'Leary), Merissa (Andreas Bremer), Gavin, Adrienna and Zachary; his great grandchild Cora; his siblings-in-law, Nick Head (Marg) and Frances Head; and his nieces and nephews, Joy, Darcy, Trevor, Troy, Allan, Susanne and Malcolm.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Brownsdale United Church Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
