He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Theresa Cranford (Clarke); his parents, Edith Newhook and Clarence Cranford; and his siblings, Clifford, Joan and Rosanna.

He is survived by: his children, Fred Cranford (Claudine), Michael Cranford (Karen) and Elizabeth Edmunds (Robert); his grandchildren, Lisa (Adam), Melanie (Steven), Geoffrey (Josphine), Chelsea (Martin), Jordan (Kalene), Kimberlyn (John), Jeremy (Amy), Katie (Alex), Jesse (Emilee) and Suzie (Dawson); and his siblings, Clarence Jr., Betty, Norma, Patsy and Judy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
