She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. James B. Roberts; her son Dr. W. James Roberts; and her parents, William Knowling and Margaret Anderson. She is survived by: her children, David Roberts of Brigus and Dr. Ann Roberts of St. John's; her daughter-in-law Edna Roberts of Carbonear; her granddaughters, Felicity Roberts (Dave Hopley) of St. John's, Virginia Roberts (Bill Gibelli Jr.) of Atlanta and Georgia; and her friend Phyllis Ryall.

“So sorry to learn of Mrs Roberts' passing. In the 1970's I had many a happy meal ( as a starving) student at the "Barking Kettle" the Roberts family home. I was shown much kindness and enjoyed the witty conversation. Ann and David have my sympathy. Also I learned of Jim's passing in 2017. Gone way too soon.”
