He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Kathleen; his brothers, Johnie and Colin; his sister-in-law Sandy (Greta); his father-in-law Fred; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara (Evert), Daphanie, Doris (Bill), Greta (Claton) and Sheri.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Scott (Kim), Craig (Jane), Ian (Terri) and Cory (Melissa); his grandchildren, Dorothy, Karla, Blake, Tyler, Annalise, Serenity, Destiny, Shaylin and Brooklyn; his great grandchild Grayson; his siblings, Kenneth (Marie), Greg (Heidi), Steve (Corinne), Alice Ryan (Paddy), Veronica and Catherine; his brothers-in-law, Fred (George Ann) and Eric; and his caregivers, Margaret Harrington and Holly Gillingham. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Broughton's Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broughton's Memorial Chapel (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Societies.
