He was predeceased by: his father Cyril Hayes Leaving; his son Ethan Hayes; his stepson Logan Dacosta; his mother Alice Hayes; his siblings, Steve (Juanita), Neil (Melinda), Jerome, Alicia (Gerard), Debbie (Tom) and Shelia; and his nieces and nephews, William Matthew, Valen, Holly, Dylan, Dallas and Taylor.

Visitation to take place on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 2-9 P. M. Covid-19 restrictions apply. Funeral to take place on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11:00 A. M. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel, Brigus, Covid-19 restrictions apply.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Ethan's Education Fund.
