It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Petten (Brigus, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 2, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hurley and Elsie Hurley; her brother David; and her brother-in-law Theodore. She is survived by: her husband George Herbert; her children, George (Betty), Juanita Stead (Terry) and Goldie Broughton; her grandchildren, Madison, Cole Broughton, Cameron and Nicholas Stead; and her siblings, William (Sharon), Arthur (Cynthia), Henry (Arlene), Mary (Wayne), Emily (John), Daphne and Jean (Dominic).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Evelyn Petten Memorial Fund in care of Broughton's Funeral Home.
