She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas King and Mary King (Spracklin) of Brigus, NL; her sister Shirley; her grandsons, Ryan and Christopher Carter; her son Charles Carter; her brother Rupert; her siblings-in-law, Noni King, Jim Saunders, Ken Skanes, George Fry, Ken Carter, George Carter and Edward Carter; her nieces, Nicole Baldwin and Sherie Pottle; and her nephew Trevor Fry.
She is survived by: her husband Bryant; her children, Joy (Llewelyn) and Mike Covington; her daughter-in-law Pam Carter; her granddaughters, Vanessa, Andrea and Shelby; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jax and Michael; her siblings, Ada Saunders, Fred King (Pauline), Doreen Oake (Jack), Vivian Fry, David King (Marie), Tom King (Ethel), Judy Sheppard (Eric), Bill King (Theresa), Gary King (Ivy), Cynthia White (Edward), Debbie O'Flaherty (Ignatius), Beverley Skanes and Bonnie Small (Russell); her sister-in-law Eileen King; and her cousin Eva Adams (Graham). She is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and extended family.
