He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary King and Thomas King; his parents-in-law, Marg and George Bussey; his siblings, Betty Carter and Rupert King; his siblings-in-law, Noni King, Jim Saunders, Ken Skanes and George Fry; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Baldwin, Sheri Pottle, Charles Carter and Trevor Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his sons, Darren (Mandy) and Colin (Joy); his granddaughters, Charlotte and Brianna; his siblings, Ada Saunders, Fred King (Pauline), Doreen Oake (John), Vivian Fry, Tom King (Ethel), Judy Sheppard (Eric), Bill King (Theresa), Gary King (Ivy), Cynthia White (Edward), Debbie O'Flaherty (Ignatius), Beverley Skanes and Bonnie Small (Russell); and his siblings-in-law, Bryant Carter, Eric Bussey (Linda), Eileen King and Betty Dinn (Peter). He is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
