She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Patrick Matthews of Brent's Cove; her parents, Daniel Lacey and Marcella Lacey (Hartery) of Brent's Cove; her parents-in-law, Patrick and Cecilia Matthews (O'Connell); her brother-in-law Ignatius Matthews; her parents-in-law, Alphonses Matthews, Walter Matthews (Shirley), Claudio Villalta and James Haas; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Holling, Marie Matthews and Bernice Corbett (Edward); and also, Corey and Robert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorraine MacNeil (Joseph) of Brent's Cove, Cynthia Matthews (Danny) of Grande Prairie, AB, Marcella Matthews Sullivan (Patrick) of Edmonton, AB and Cordelia Gallant (Michael) of Hantsport, NS; her grandchildren, Patricia MacNeil, Margaret MacNeil (Tony Kyritsis), Daniel MacNeil (Kayla Simms), Joanne MacNeil (Jonathon Butt), Thomasina Bosch (Trevor Bosch), Leslie Critch (Mark Howe), Zachary Sullivan (Maya Radecki), Patrick Sullivan, Eleanor Gallant (Avery Grouette) and Grace Gallant; her great grandchildren, Brynn Bosch, Thomas Sullivan and Matthew Sullivan; her stepgrandchild Brooke Budgell; her brother Phil Conway (Bob Joseph); her sisters-in-law, Rose Matthews (Ignatius), Linda Loder (Terry), Madeline Haas, Kathleen Matthews and Stella Villalta; her nieces and nephews, Curt Conway, John Matthews (Tonya), Glen Matthews (Chantal) and Amy Payne (Gerard); and her close friend Peter Shea.
