Gertrude Mercer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2020, at the age of 92, Gertrude Mercer of Boyds Cove, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John LeDrew and Elizabeth LeDrew (Muggee); her husband George Mercer; her granddaughter Lori Peddle; and her siblings, Arthur, Isaac, Henry, Raymond, Alfred, Maggie Hewitt, Daisy Roberts and Carrie Simms.

She is survived by: her brother Wilson Mills; her daughter Mildred Sheppard (David); her granddaughters, Susan Cole, Nancy Sheppard and Hollie Sheppard; her great grandchildren, Megan, Eric Stewart, Kelsey, Jordan Cole, Ashley and Madison Peddle; her great great grandchild Sadie Lori Stewart; her brother-in-law Hubert Simms; her niece Evelyn Simms; and her cousin Greta Cave. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.

Donation's in her memory may be given to St. George's Anglican Church, Boyd's Cove, NL.
