Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Viola Jessie Canning (Botwood, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 86, on April 20, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank (Point) of Bay; her parents, Andrew Hayward and Beatrice Hayward; and her brother Herbert. She is survived by: her children, Lorne (Vivian), Tony (Jean), Harland, Dean, Jason (Nancy) and Varina; and her siblings, Alf, Cavell, Terry (Rosalind), Joan, Vera (Merv), Valda and Fronie (Danny).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Water St, Botwood, NL A0H1E0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Living Faith Pentecostal Church.
Donations in Viola's memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
