He was predeceased by: his former wife Rowena; his son Jerry; his grandson Trevor; his parents, George and Priscilla; and his siblings, Wilfred, John, Ford, Avis, Verna and Dot.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Carey (Gerald), Lucy Moores (Raymond) and Carolyn Seymour (Larry); his siblings, Vera Kane (Ontario), Cloie Warren (Ontario), Ethel Hynes, Benjamin (Jessie) and Victor (Ivy); his sons-in-law, Gerald Carey, Raymond Moores and Roger Boone; his stepson Goodwin Billings; and his wife Florence Boone. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as a circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
