He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Carpenter and Priscilla Carpenter; and his siblings, Cyril, Gus, Bruce, Lindy and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Carpenter; his children, Garry Carpenter (Natalie), Shelia Carpenter (David Reneof), Sharron Clark (Terry) and Alecia Carpenter (Keith Boone); his sisters, Elieen Peckford (Art), Patsy Hayward (Ken) and Barbara Budgell (Dave); his grandchildren, Jamie (Dean), Matthew (Kathy), Scott (Chloe), Natasha (Kieran), Carson (Jessica), Deanna (Gerard) and Sarah (Samuel); and his great grandchildren, Melissa, Myah and Max. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
