It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Budgell (Botwood, Newfoundland), born in Bishops Falls, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Budgell and Eliza Budgell; his wife Rosie; his parents-in-law, Charles and Pearl Peckford; and his sisters, Jane Pelley (Ronald) and Beatrice Peckford (Jim).

He is survived by: his children, Tracey (Junior), Bradley (Alison) and Justin (April); his siblings, Dolph (Abby), Mary and Lillian (Wilf); his grandchildren, Damian, Gabrielle, Alexis, Colby, Jordyn, Mallory and Kendra; and his great grandchild Kaeden.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the Budgell family.
