She was predeceased by: her parents, May Richardson and George Richardson; her husband William Fong; her brother-in-law Ronald LeDrew; and her son-in-law Bill Power.

She is survived by: her children, David (Jian), Robert (Linda), Linda (Aubrey), Dianne (Dave), Aileen (Terry) and Carol (Shawn); her grandchildren, Ian (Nicole), Scott, Alyson, Kerri Lynn (Dallas), Yuanpei, Juli (Paul), Robin (Jeff), Angela (Yves), Krista (Justin), Tracey (Joe), Andrew (Sheri) and Catherine; her great grandchildren, Lukas, Jacob, Olivia, Elijah, Zachery, Savannah, Randy, Willa, Hazel and Sara; her sister Maude LeDrew; and her nephews, George (Nicki), Ronald (Liz) and Richard (Kathi). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Pastor James Martin-Carter will conduct the funeral from Hoskins Funeral Home in keeping with the Covid 19 restrictions the funeral will be for immediate family and by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Canadian Red Cross.
