She was predeceased by: her husband Eli; her sons, Samuel and John; her parents, John Hynes and Eleanor Hynes; and her siblings, Thomas, Henry, John, Michael, Mary-Alice, Lucy and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her children, Florence Regular (Bruce), Harry (Susan), Jim, Jean Cyr (Ed), Junior (Gail), Jackie and Janice (Kevin); and her siblings, Agatha Ryan (Clarey), Veronica Hynes, Alice Ferns, Murdock Hynes (Anna), Patrick Hynes (Charmaine) and Archibald (Rowena). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Cancer Society.
