He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; his parents, Henry Peyton and Pearl Peyton; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Annie Dalley; his siblings, Heber, Hedley, Ross, Trixie, Kathleen, Fern and Judy; and his son Brian.

He is survived by: his children, Mervin (Karen) and Kelly Andrews (Robert); his daughter-in-law Karen Oxford-Peyton; his brothers, Ernie (Penny) and Owen (Rita); his grandchildren, Andrew (Danielle), Melanie, Emily, Rachel, Kirke (Amie), Brandon (Shenesse) and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Brianne and Jaxson.
