Maxwell Wesley Rees Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2021, Maxwell Wesley Rees (Botwood, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Rees and Ina Rees; and his brothers, Gerald and Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Shelley (Roy) and Stephen (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Jacob, Jamie (Jordan) and Maddison; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua and Justina; his siblings, Elizabeth, Anne (Bruce), Allan (Sharon), Brian (Barbara) and Eric; his sisters-in-law, Joan (Tony), Judy (Larry) and Vera (Ron); his aunts, Marg and Elizabeth; and his uncle Ford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.

As was his wish and due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family gathering will take place.
