He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pope and Ethel Pope; and his siblings, Margaret, Elvina and Gerald.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin, Brian and Greg; his grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Riley and Lisa; his siblings, Daphne (Helmut), Ernestine, Henry (Joan), Fred (Patricia) and Clarence (Barbara); and his significant other Arlene. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Donations in his memory can be made to Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or the Newfoundland-Labrador Canadian Cancer Society.
