With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred John Rideout (Botwood, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rideout and Violet Rideout; his sister Dulcie Rideout; his brother-in-law Roger Moyles; his siblings, Ella Smith (Jack) and Samuel Rideout; and his sister-in-law Betty Rideout.

He is survived by: his close friends, Fred Vineham and Andrew Sheppard; his sons, Shawn (Kim) and Trevor (Lisa); his grandsons, Mark and Michael Rideout (Desaray); his great grandchild Paislee; his siblings, Mabel Froude, Hayward (Dorothy) and Edward (Marva); and his close friend Barbara Borland.

Anyone wishing to honour Frederick's memory can donate to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
