With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Elizabeth Hynes (Botwood, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Billings and Priscilla Billings; and her siblings, Verna, Dorothy, Avis, Wilfred, Truman, John and Ford.

She is survived by: her daughter Michelle (Valentine); her husband Alonzo Hynes; her granddaughter Sarah; her siblings, Chloe, Ben and Victor; her close friends, Alonzo and Michelle Butler; her son Shannon Hynes (Jessica); and her nephews, Fabain Power, Valentine Mcloughin, Alonzo Butler, Gerald Cary and Peter Carroll. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Following Covid 19 restrictions the visitation and service will remain private and by invitation only.
