Elmer Frank Bursey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Frank Bursey (Botwood, Newfoundland), born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pastors Frank and Hazel Bursey; his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Minnie Evans; and his siblings-in-law, Clarice Brent, Bruce Brent and James Jardine.

He is survived by: his wife Ina Jean (Evans); his children, Peter, Helen and Donna (Geoff Osborne); his grandchildren, Jonathan Butt, Michael Hancock (Jennifer), Nicholas Butt, Timothy Hancock (Kady) and Miranda Bursey Kristin Bursey (Gabriel); his great grandchildren, Spencer, Grace and Sophia; his siblings, Arnold (Joan), David (Fern) and Ada Slade (Hubert); and his sisters-in-law, Marion Jardine, Margaret Ivany (Roy) and Trudy Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19 regulations a family viewing has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
