She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Sheppard; her parents, Esau Seymore and Effie Seymore (Burt); her children, Edward, Garland Sheppard and Clair Peyton; and her siblings, Olive Hibbs, Evelyn Hutchings, Annie Snow, Henry, Milton and Edgar Seymore.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Leanne), Walter (Tegan), Baxter, Esau and Freda; and her sisters, Pauline Knight, Gladys Seymore, Linda Hunt and Berleen Hynes. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends.
