He was predeceased by: his children, Cherry Hart (David), Allister Brenton (Jenni), Marie Stuckless (Rob), Roland Brenton, Betty Keefe (Adam), Rodney Brenton (Samantha), Marjorie Taylor (Jason), Pauline (Isreial), Paula (Leonard) and Ross Brenton (Heather); his wife Flossie; his parents, Leonard Brenton and Camellia Brenton; his children, Shirley, Irene and Edward; his grandchildren, Andrew Brenton and Andrea Burton; and his siblings, Hazel, Florence and Elmo. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with the COVID-19 regulations there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
