He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebenezer Brace and Agnes Brace; his siblings, Ted, Ewart, Harold, Alfred, Ebenezer, Doris Pretty, Pearl LaPorte and Ruby Campbell; and his children-in-law, Lloyd Hemeon and Debbie.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, William (Linda Smith), Robert (Corrina), Raymond (Joanne), Kevin (Louise), Diane Foss (Barry) and Isabel Hemeon; his sisters, Isabel Haines and Jane McMilliam; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Brace, Michaeline (Brendan), Mercedes, Jaqueline, Arthur (Linda), Gene and Wellington (Denise). He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
