He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Penney; his grandson Scout Keough; his parents, William Penney and Irene Penney; and his siblings, James, William, Peter, Gerald and Rita Rose.

He is survived by: his children, Peter Penney (Lisa), Darlene Keough (Rod) and Karen Penney; his grandchildren, Mark Keough (Terri), Bradey Keough (Ashley), Jordan Penney and Taylor Penney (Cody); his great grandchildren, Emery Keough, Elliot Keough, Logan Keough and Lennon Keough; and his sisters, Marion Parsons (Penney) and Marie Penney.
