He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dunphy and Anna Dunphy (Kelly); and his siblings, Tom, David, Paul, Marie, Ruth, Betty and Lillian.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude (Furey); his children, Jeff (Denise), Chris (Cheryl) and Joanna (Tim); his grandchildren, Megan, Dawn, Jeffrey, Holly, Jacob, Tyler, Anna, Sarah and Ian; his great grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Quinn, James and Leo; his siblings, Janice, Patricia, Ann and Bill; and his siblings-in-law, David Messervey, Richard Duder, Mary Furey and Elsie Dunphy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (527 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Parish (164 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0).
