He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rendell and Annie Rendell; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Lynette Monks (Randy) of Bishop's Falls, Pete Rendell (Rhonda) of Bishop's Falls, Wayne Rendell (Lana) of Bishop's Falls, Laura Pickford (Brian) of Bishop's Falls and Tracey Bailey (Lloyd) of Bishop's Falls; his grandchildren, Kristen (Nathan), Jeff (Samantha), Terri-Lynn (Jake), Dale, Jenna, Brooke, Kaithlyn and Claire; his great grandchild Ashton; his siblings, William of Calgary, AB, Effie Richard of Lethbridge, AB and Norma Clarke (Franklin) of Botwood, NL; and his nephew Eugene Dwyer (Diane) of Corner Brook, NL..

Due to COVID-19 there will only be a private family visitation with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Bishop's Falls.
