He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Budgell and Eliza Budgell; his siblings, Roy, Benny, Owen, Fanny and Pearl; his niece Sherry; and his nephew Paul.

He is survived by: his sisters, Judy, Joyce (Gary) and Pauline (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Jim (Diane), Glen, Tracy, Tina, Tony, Bernice (Guy), Neil (Kimberly), Janice (Richard), Tammy (Scott), Roy Jr., Joshua, Shannon, Mandy (Paul), Allison (Mike), Courtney (Stephen) and Chelsea (Scott). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
