She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Bursey and Louise Bursey; and her siblings, Ronald Bursey, Harvey Bursey, Wilson Bursey and Beatrice Bursey.

She is survived by: her husband Clifford Ellis; her children, Keith Ellis (Pauline) and Kathy Kennedy (Dale); her sisters, Dorothy McLaughlin and Shirley Harding (Paul); her grandchildren, Amanda Kennedy, Christopher Ellis, Chantelle Kennedy, Ulanda Taylor (Ellis), Jennifer Ellis and Cameron Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Parker Ellis, Isabella Taylor, Bentley Taylor and Anderson Ellis.

Donations in her memory may be made to her beloved church Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle.
