She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Mercer and Suzanna Mercer of Bishop's Falls; her husband Reginald Burt; her siblings, Eric, Clifford, Roland, Donald, Robert (Bob), Louise and Maxine; and her son-in-law Terry.
She is survived by: her children, Ivan (Sandra), Baden (Joy), Kent (Cathy), Earl (Leslie), Rosalind Cooper (Sam) and Judy Cantwell (Reg); her grandchildren, Ross, Bryan, Chad, Melissa, Terri-Lynn, Caitlin and Shayna; her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Hannah, Grayson, Max, Jillian and Owen; and her sisters, Joan Braye (Ron) and Judy Wells (Jim). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Greg Patey at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop's Falls.
