He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Seymour Sr. and Theresa (Rideout); his sister Violet Butt (Jack); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Anne Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Ava; his children, Michael Seymour (Vinita), Greg Kelly (Tracey), Theresa-Anne Prowse (Corey) and Florence Pierce (Robert); his sister Florence Gilbert (Cecil); his nephew Arch Butt (Roberta); his cousins, Lily Collins (Bob), Peter Gardner (Juanita), John Gardner (Denise), Paula Collins (Wilf), Chris Gardner, Alma Gardner Norton (Bruce), Carl Gardner, Michael Gardner (Jackie) and Gerry Gardner (Ivy); and his close friend Lara Wall. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
