He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Burge and Hooper Burge; and his siblings, Tom Burge, Melvin Burge, Hooper Burge Jr., Glennys Mills (Gilbert) and Sherry Burge.

He is survived by: his close friend Pearl Pelley; his daughters, Valerie and Veronica Burge; his granddaughter Danica Burge; and his former wife June Burge. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Due to the Covid and travel restrictions a funeral service will be held at a later date.
