She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas King; her granddaughter Natasha White; her parents, Hilda Freake and Wilbert Freake; her parents-in-law, Victor and Ellen King; and her brothers-in-law, Cyril Stone and Rex Champion.

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Joanne), David (Flora), Tom Jr. (Debbie), Darren (Cheryl), Todd (Margaret), Glenda Antle (Kevin) and Keena Reid (Tony); and her siblings, Louise Baird (Don), Madeline Stone, Betty Faulkner (Lindahl), Wilbert Freake (Doris) and Gerry Brown (Jackie). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor.
