He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Matchim and Etta Matchim; the mother of his children Joan Doyle; his wife Marie Nelson; and his sister Lola Clarke.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Matchim (Heather), Shawn Matchim (Lorraine Budgell), Jamie Matchim, Michelle Kelligrew (Don) and Tracy Farr; his stepdaughters, Krista Nelson (Mark Wright) and Michelle Nelson-Boos (Allan); his girlfriend Ruby Freake; his siblings, June Glover (Boyd), Lorraine Matchim (Cliff), Jocelyn Bartlett (Cliff) and Roy Matchim (Faye); and his brother-in-law Harvey Clarke.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2 - 4 for family and friends following the COVID regulations. The funeral service will be private.
