She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna and Clayton Smart; and her brother Wayne. She is survived by: her husband Ed Taverner; her mother-in-law Lily Taverner; her siblings, Yvonne (Ted), Terry (Colleen) and Dennis (Gwen); her grandchildren, Adam, Regan, Caleb, Colby and Callie; and her children, Krista and Michael.
In her memory donations may be made to the Grand Falls-Windsor Cancer Centre.
