She was predeceased by: her husband Wes Brodersen; her parents, Robert Duffett and Cora Mullins; and her brothers, Allan Duffett and Robert Duffett.

She is survived by: her sons, Derek Williams, Ronald Freake and Robert Freake (Tracey); her siblings, Sandra (Harry Wood), Gail Paula (Paul Finn), Laurie (Wade Samson), Keith Mullins (Sharron), Gary Duffett (Vera) and Paul Duffett (Rhonda); her niece Vanessa Reid; and her great-niece Madison Reid (Molly Brown). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Donations can be made in Christine's memory to the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor.
