Bessie Penton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Bessie Penton of Bishops Falls, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Penton; her parents, Lucy Shiner and Archibald Shiner; her siblings, Selby, Herbert and Elvie; and her son-in-law Howard Sharron.

She is survived by: her children, Dan (Brenda), Selby, Sean (Jessica), Darren (Laurie), Linda Earle (Arthur), Armaline Noseworthy (Les), Bernadette Murphy (Scott) and Bernice Penton; her siblings, Bert Shiner (Glenda), Charlie Shiner, Bernette Young (Chester), Delcie Whalen (Edward) and Ada; her close friend Linda Moores; and her sister-in-law Elsie Hutchings. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Unfortunatley, due to the current COVID restrictions visitation and funeral service will be private for invited guest only.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The United Church, Bishop's Falls.
