She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Dawe and Violet Dawe (Conrad); her siblings, Gordon Dawe, Cyril Stone and Betty Best; her sister-in-law Thelma Dawe; her parents-in-law, Maxwell and Ethel Snow; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Snow, Sylvia Thomas and Ferne Snow.
She is survived by: her close friend Carl Budgell; her children, Calvin, Kenneth (Cathy), Christine, Beverley, Judy (Jeff) and Joanne (Rick); her brothers, Dave (Bernadette), Bill and Wally (Diane); her grandchildren, Nicole, Dave, Tyrone, Brandon, Brittney, Kelsey, Joshua, Robert and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Easton, Laci, Everleigh and Arianna; her siblings-in-law, Madeline Stone, Helen Snow, Betty Gillispe Snow, Alex Snow and Robert Snow (Cindy); and her husband Con.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (527 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (164 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0).
Barbara was an active member in organizations like the Children's Wish Foundation, collecting for the Red Cross and Heart & Stroke Foundation.
