It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerome Michael Hefferan of Birchy Bay, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hefferan and Sarah Hefferan; his siblings, Bill, Tom (Barbara), Madonna and Mary (Fred Mills); his parents-in-law, Clayton and Gladys Mews; and his brother-in-law Boyd Mews.
He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Joey (Cindy), Terrilyn (Mike) and Tanis (Trevor); his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Daniel, Greg, Meghan (Brett), Joshua, Thomas and Andrew; and his sister Linda (Don Lynch).
The public visitation will take place from Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, on Sunday, September 26th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM following COVID government regulations.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
