He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Fiander and Bertha Fiander; and his siblings, Charlie Fiander, Chesley Fiander and Lucy.

He is survived by: his wife Pearl; his children, Harris Fiander, Barry Fiander, David Fiander (Jessie) and Mandy Fiander; his brother David Fiander (Mabel); his grandchildren, Shannon, Nena, Katie and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Kiera, Cade and Lily. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
