It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Esther (O'Brien) Budgell (Bell Island, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Earl; her daughter-in-law Carrol; her parents, Thomas O'Brien and Doris O'Brien; her brothers, Ronnie, Thomas and Gary; and her nephew Thomas Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Budgell-Manning (Randy) and Tom; her grandchildren, Sarah (Ryland) and Brett; her stepgrandchildren, Rhea Dale (Aaron) and Daniel Manning; her great grandchildren, Emelia, Eliza, Nathaniel, Isaac, Lincoln, Elias and Jonah; her siblings, Carol O'Brien, Edith Curnew (Patrick), Gail Burke (Bill) and Walter (Gail); her siblings-in-law, Dianne O'Brien and Howard (Celie); and her friends, Doreen Budgell, Linda Thorne, Cathy and Robert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
