It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jodie- Lynn Burden of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George, Joyce Hornbostel, Raymond and Shirley Shephard; her aunt Debbie Shephard; her uncle Moe Vercauteren; her sister-in-law Margaret Walboure; and her parents-in-law, Charlie and Zena Burden.

She is survived by: her husband Lemont Burden; her sons, Devin Giardino (Hilary) and Jarrett Giardino; her stepchildren, Jennifer Burden (Michael) and Justin Burden (Sarah); her grandchildren, Hailee-Jayde, Zachary and Blake; her parents, Norm Hornbostel (Renne) and Linda Shephard; her uncles, Wayne Shephard (Denise) and Tom Trembley (Evie); her aunt Barb Vercauteron; and her brothers-in-law, Wilfred Burden (Rosalind) and Bill Walboure.
