He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Darlene Morgan (John) and Tony Russell (Anne); his grandchildren, Connie Power (Peter), Danielle Blake (Chris), Ashley Mahaney (Jody) and Sara Russell (Chris Peddle); his great grandchildren, Josh, Jonah, David, Brooklyn and Harper; his brothers, Walter (Bernice) and Ross; his sisters-in-law, Ada, Grace and Velma; and his close friends, George Bullen (Linda), Corinne Russell, Spencer and Glenys Russell.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Salvation Army Junior Youth Group.
