She was predeceased by: her husband Varrick; her parents, Albert Dawe and Dulcie Dawe; and her siblings, Jean Burden, Lillian Noseworthy, Malcolm Dawe and Eric Dawe.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Newell (Cheryl Pollock), Andrea Newell (Fred Drillet) and John Newell (Carol Prosser).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (45 L. T. Stick Dr, Bay Roberts, NL A0A). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
