He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Riggs (Dot); his parents, Moses Riggs and Leah Riggs; his parents-in-law, Will John and Martha Thorne; his siblings, William Riggs, Leslie Riggs, Mary Jane Fanjoy (Roy), Alice Henderson and Ruby Riggs; and his siblings-in-law, Ambrose Thorne (Matilda), Jane Benson (Wallace), Annie May Gillingham (Samuel) and Fannie Fagner (Albert).
He is survived by: his children, Alice Riggs, Janice Riggs, Judy Keats (Louis), Roy Riggs (Dianne) and Jeffery Riggs (Wanda); his grandchildren, Blair Keats (Jessica), Amanda Keats (Travis), Jamie Hogan (Keshia), Kyle Riggs and Jarod Riggs (Kai); his great grandchildren, Leah Keats, Paige, Chase Keats, Jersey, Jace Hogan and River Riggs; his stepgrandchildren, Jayden, Jake, Rylan Glover and Hayden Pike; his brother Melvin Riggs (Ruby); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Riggs and Gertie Gillingham (late Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Wilfred's memory to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
