With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo C Pennell of Bay Bulls, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 30, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; his parents, Margaret Pennell and Daniel Pennell; his siblings, Theresa (Harold), Cyril, Joseph, Gerald, John Mike, Anthony (Theresa), Alphonsus and Reginald; his brother-in-law Don Kuck; and his son-in-law Clarence Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Riordan (Dan), Washington, Cheryl Gallant (Bruce), Darlene Sutton, Paradise, Tami Pennell, Heather Penney (Perry) and Scott Pennell; his grandchildren, Kyle, Shayne, Jesse, Samuel, Sebastian and Madison; his siblings, Kathleen Ryan (Cyril), Mary Kuck, Victor (Doris) and Harold (Marie); and his sisters-in-law, Catherine, Irene and Shirley. He is also survived by the friends he made while Mom and Dad.
A public visitation, in keeping with current Covid-19 restrictions, will be held on Monday, August 3rd at Fahey's Funeral Home in Trepassey at 9:00am -11:00am and the funeral mass immediately following at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church forfamily members only.
