With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Gerald Philpott of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, born in Coachmans Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Philpott and Elizabeth Philpott; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Catherine Fitzgerald; his brother Charlie; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma and Aloysius.
He is survived by: his caregiver Gena; his wife Gemma; his children, Elizabeth (Rick Sparkes), Ken (Lori), Kevin, Andrew (Laurie) and George (Brenda-Lee); his grandchildren, Billy Philpott (Katie), Brittany Philpott (Zack), Scott Philpott, Bradley Philpott (Denicia), Megan Philpott, Dillan Philpott (Gena), Danielle Warford (Cornell), Andrew Sparkes (Emily), Meagan Frampton (Jamie) and Jessica Douglas (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Nixon, Aiden, Lennon, Jaxon, Gavin, Grayson and Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family is requesting that all those attending the visitations, and the funeral service to please WEAR A MASK.
