He was predeceased by: his son Bradley Shiner; his parents, Selby Shiner and Rosalind Shiner; his brother Vaden Shiner; and his nephew Marvin Shiner.
He is survived by: his daughter Keagan Foster; his grandchildren, Keisha Foster and Keisha Foster; and his siblings, Gary (Darlene), Dwane (Joan), Derrick, Teddy, Nolan (Esther), Gayla (Alonzo), Ruth (Lester) and Karen.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (22 Main St, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery.
