It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Selina Parsons of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 93, on March 4, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Carew and Julia Carew (Nee Ayers); her former husband Norman Strickland; her husband Herbert Parsons; her siblings, Gordon, Aplhonse Carew (Geraldine), Frank Carew, Aneitha Sheaves and Clifford Sheaves; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Carew.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Yvonne McSwiney (Chris) and Danny Greene (Beth); her great-childrens, Elaine and Andrew McSwiney; her brother Eric Carew; and her sister-in-law Mary Carew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
